Strategic design allowed for 92 apartments to be constructed in this area of the historic Frank Jones industrial complex. Compact individual apartments keep rental costs affordable, while expanded community gathering space on the ground floor opens to an outdoor patio, and a large amenity roof deck provides skyline views of scenic Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The distinctly modern expression was created with full-sized brick veneer, timber, and stone, which also serve to highlight the historic industrial significance of the surrounding site. Careful design of the building and site has transformed a disused property into a contemporary beacon in the emerging West End community.
