PORTSMOUTH, NEW HAMPSHIRE
Steeped in the past, inside and out, this elegant penthouse apartment overlooks an historic Portsmouth neighborhood and the iconic Warner House (1716). Housed in the former Army Navy Association building, built in 1916 for visiting soldiers, sailors and military officers, the brick exterior and original wood window sashes were restored, along with the original glass. Granite from the site was reused to fabricate keystones on the exterior, and brick alleyways were created to pay homage to the period feel of the area. Elegance and history have found a home in this beautifully restored space.
